Your added value:
- Education: degree in computer science, AI, data science or a comparable qualification
- Java & JavaScript: several years of hands-on experience & excellent knowledge of Java (especially Java EE) as well as JavaScript/TypeScript – in both frontend & backend
- AI engineering know-how: sound knowledge of neural networks, common ML libraries (e.g. TensorFlow, PyTorch, Hugging Face) as well as architecture, training & integration of AI models into production systems
- Deployment & integration: extensive experience in integrating & operating ML models in production, e.g. via REST APIs, FastAPI, TensorFlow Serving, ONNX, Docker or Kubernetes
- Backend & infrastructure: deep understanding of server-side logic, microservice architectures, RESTful APIs, CI/CD (e.g. with GitLab), Docker & Kubernetes
- Frontend excellence: very good knowledge of modern frameworks such as Angular or React – for performant, intuitive UIs with intelligent features
- Data processing: very good experience with data models, ETL processes & data preprocessing, e.g. with Pandas, SQL, Kafka, Spark
- Cloud & DevOps: confident with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) as well as tools for monitoring, logging & security
- Architectural understanding: strong ability to think through complex systems holistically, structure them modularly & integrate AI components performantly
- Project work: extensive experience in agile projects, technical implementation & communication with stakeholders
- Quality awareness & structure: high standards for code quality, reliability & sustainable software architecture
- Soft skills: proactive, structured team player with a hands-on mentality, personal responsibility & enthusiasm for pioneering AI applications
- Languages: very good German (min. C1) & good English (min. B2)
Your tasks:
- AI software development: You develop intelligent full-stack applications with integrated AI models, e.g. for classification, forecasting, recommendation systems or semantic analyses.
- Backend integration: Connecting AI models via REST/gRPC interfaces, containerisation & scaling for production operation
- Java EE at the centre: You develop sophisticated Java EE backends focusing on performance, scalability & intelligent data logic.
- Frontend development: You build user-friendly, interactive interfaces with JavaScript/TypeScript to visualise & control AI-supported features.
- System design & architecture: You design modern software architectures for the seamless integration of classic components & AI modules, including testing, security & CI/CD.
- Team play & sparring: You work closely with the AI team, data scientists & UX designers for production-ready, user-centred solutions.
- Project work: You accompany the entire development process from requirements analysis through design, implementation & testing to rollout & maintenance.
- Product thinking & AI products: You help shape intelligent features & actively contribute to transforming AI models into marketable products with added value.
